Northern Tasmanian Football Umpires Association Inc.

Welcome to the official website of the Northern Tasmanian Football Umpires Association Inc. We aim to provide a central hub for all things related to umpiring in the NTFUA.

The NTFUA is an association that represents all umpires who officiate in games within Northern Tasmania, at both senior and junior levels. Our main objective is to provide a welcoming club for all our umpires and supporters, ensuring they have every opportunity to succeed. As your association, we organize a social calendar that aims to engage our members and community in an inclusive and enjoyable environment, where great memories are shared among friends, old and new. Once a month, on a Thursday night after training, we offer our members cheap meals and drinks.

We provide member advocacy and regularly liaise with the NTFA and NTJFA to ensure that our members’ needs and concerns are met. As a community, we often run fundraisers for charitable organisations.

Recognising our past is always important to us, and we are currently working with our members and Life members to bring back the history of our Association.

The NTFUA wishes to acknowledge all of our wonderful volunteers who contribute so much to our club, as well as our sponsors who make many of our programs possible.
